world heritage day

On Occasion of the world heritage day , I wish to introduce a piece of history & heritage of Bangalore.

Gavipura is one of the Bangalore's urban village, one among a few sites that the modern city has evolved from.
The cave temple dedicated to Lord Gangadhareshwara, The plase also known as gowtham kshetra & bharadwaja kshetra, wherein the sage Gowtham and bharadwaja used to worship Lord gangadhara here.

The Kempabudhi lake built by Kempegowda - I arounds 1540's, which is named after his daughter in law...

The watch tower built by Kempegowda -II. who was a visionary, who had a fore thought to restrict the exorbitant growth of the city without proper development of basic amenities.... to ensure he has built four border watch towers to Bangalore.... The western watch tower of Bangalore is located by side of Kempambudhi lake.

The Gavipura has one of the ancient temple of Big bull at basavanagudi, and dodda ganapathi temple, sunkenahalli village, hari hara gudda temple, dhobhji ghat, wrestling schools, swimming pools maratha colony, social institutions Ramakrishna Ashram, Udayabhanu kalasangha, Rashtrotthana parishath, Kalamandir, SVYAAS, and so on makes a one of our unique urban centres.
